Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana has issued notification for 28 posts of Veterinary Officer, Clerk, Assistant and etc. Candidates can apply by March 2024. Age limit, Application fees, Education qualification, how to apply, selection process and other details are given below.

गुरु अंगद देव पशु चिकित्सा और पशु विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय ने Veterinary Officer, Clerk and Assistant के 28 पदों के लिए अधिसूचना जारी की है। उम्मीदवार 20 March से पहले आवेदन कर सकते हैं। शिक्षा योग्यता, आयु सीमा, आवेदन शुल्क, चयन प्रक्रिया, आवेदन कैसे करें और अन्य विवरण नीचे दिए गए हैं। सभी आवेदकों से अनुरोध है की वे अंतिम तारीख से पहले आवेदन करे| आवेदन से पहले नीचे दी गई सभी जानकारी ध्यान से पढ़े।

Education Qualification

Dean

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in any Branch of Veterinary Science/Animal Science/Fisheries

Assistant Professor

  • Qualification: B.V.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & A.H. least with second division

Veterinary Officer

  • Qualification: M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology/Veterinary Medicine/

Veterinary officer 

  • Gynaecology & Obstetrics /Animal Nutrition/Animal Genetics & Breeding/Livestock
    Production Management/ Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education

Clerk

  • Graduation from any recognized university.
Age Limit

Candidate’s age should minimum 18 year and maximum 37 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.02.2024.

Note:-

  1. No person shall be eligible if he is less than 18 years of age.
  2. No person shall be eligible if he has crossed 37 years of age.
Pay Scale

  1. Dean, Postgraduate Studies (for a term of 4 years) (One)- Rs. 37400-67000/- + Rs10000/- GP + RS 1000/- Special Allowance+ rent-free accommodation
  2. Assistant Professor (Livestock Production) at KVK (One) – Rs. 15600-39100/- + Rs.6000/- G.P.
  3. Veterinary Officer (Two) – Rs. 15600-39100/- + Rs.6000/- G.P.
  4. Clerk (Fifteen)- Rs. 10300-34800+ 3200/- GP
  5. Skilled Support Staff at KVK (Six) – Rs. 5200-20200+ Rs.1800 G.P.
  6. Mali/Gardner (three)- Rs. 4900-10680+ 1650/- GP
Application Fees

  1. Post at Sr. No. 1 to 3-Rs.1500/-
  2. Post at Sr. No. 4-Rs. 1000/-
  3. Post at Sr. No. 5 & 6-Rs.300/-

The candidate has to visit the website to view the detailed notification and User Guide. The fee is to be paid Offline by Bank draft of the requisite application fee in favor of COMPTROLLER, GADVASU payable at Ludhiana.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list.
